Graefensteinberg and Surrounding

  Graefensteinberg is sited in the heart of the Franconian Lakes District, not far from the small town of Gunzenhausen. Graefensteinberg is a district of the Haundorf community, with a little more than 800 inhabitants. The apartments are located off the road on the outskirts of the village opposite the nature monument Three Oaks, where from you can enjoy a great distant view into the Franconian Lakes District. Here, in the heart of the “Fraenkisches Seenland” you can find a real pastoral idyll instead of urban bustle.

Here, in the village, there is a small bank branch of Raiffeisen and (we´re really privileged) a corner shop/ mom-and-pop-store for basic stuff. There you can find a small postal branch, too. On the first glance, you might think ending up in the middle of nowhere – but appearances can be deceptive! No matter what kind of holiday you´re planning: Activity or beach holiday, if you like to go fishing or if you are more interested in history, culture or simply like to visit some events –  a little mobility assumed – you´ll find thousands of places to visit and things to do – within quite short range.
